On May 15, 2021, The meeting of debate for thesis of Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) in the summer of 2021 was successfully concluded ,with 47 students participating in it.

        The meeting of debate for thesis was divided into four groups, and each group of defense committee had five experts, which were composed of experts from other schools, experts from practice and three experts from our university. At the beginning of the defense, students took the stage in turn for a 6-8 minute presentation of their thesis. In the process of reporting, the students were confident, the experts also seriously listened and read the papers. After the reporting, the experts carried out the knowledge of expansion on students' thesis logical framework, data, application of format and text, raising some advice about revising papers. The students listened carefully and record related issuses. After a short interval, the students came to the stage in turn to answer the questions raised by the defense experts. During the process of answering, the students were modest and sincere,They explained the problems existing in the papers and demonstrated how to modify the papers in the next step .

           After the end of the defense, the defense committee evaluated the thesis after full discussion and exchange of views, voting by secret ballot. Ultimately, the chairman announced the result of the defense. The 47 students who finally participated in the defense successfully passed the defense of thesis and were submitted to the Degree Assessment Committee of Huaqiao University for evaluation later.
