From 23-24 November, 2019, Fujian Graduate Business Administration Case Competition was successfully held in Xinhuadu Business School of Minjiang University. After the tests of the preliminary round, the semi-final and the final, "37° Research Team" of the School of Business Administration won the second prize for Meet the Blessings "Leap-Leap" Trilogy: Small Convenience, Big Wisdom (advisor: Lin Chunpei), and the "Chosen One team "won the second prize for Keep the Original and Keep the Proper, Change the Change: Strategic Breakthrough of Richun Tea Industry (advisor: Liu Xianyue), Seven Wolves and Investors's Love Defense War (instructor: Xu Ailing)of "the Happy Life Team" won the third prize.

This competition is sponsored by the Office of Academic Degrees Committee of Fujian Province and organized by Minjiang University. The competition lasted for more than 3 months. There were 31 graduate teams and more than 150 members from Fuzhou University, Huaqiao University, Fujian Normal University, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Jimei University, Minjiang University and other colleges and universities in Fujian province.

The preliminary selection was carried out by blind case evaluation. A total of 15 teams entered the semifinal for the presentation and defense. Three teams of our school competed calmly and steadily, and all of them advanced to the final with high scores among the top six. In the final stage, each team should self-select options and prepare the analysis report in less than 12 hours based on the emergency cases designated by the organizer. In the final, the judging panel adopted a "theory + practice" parallel scoring model, focusing on the contestants' business awareness, theory application and understanding of the actual situation of the case. In the end,“37 Research Team”which leaded by our school's student ChengJiarong from level 2018 MPAcc (accounting professional master ) through a group with original ideas, harmonious cooperation, excellent report reply and using in-depth analysis accroding to the situation of enterprise and whole industry .Our team won the unanimous praise of the judges, won the second prize in one fell swoop, the other two teams won the third prize.

It is reported that our school has always attached great importance to the construction of the case database, and organized many instructors and graduate students of different majors to conduct in-depth investigation in enterprises,compile and consummate cases all the year round. At the same time, by means of inviting students to participate in the essay solicitation of domestic major case databases and participating in case competitions could improve the level of case writing and collaboration of graduate students,and the two-way integration of theory and practice would be strengthened to further improve the training quality of professional degree graduate students.
